if you grow up in southern california and if you're any bit interested in food, you eventually find out about good food and evan kleiman. for me, that discovery happened in my twenties and i've been an ardent listener and fan ever since. after over a decade of listening to her on the radio, i've come to think of evan kleiman as a friend of sort, a friend who is always knowledgeable about new restaurants, recipes, and food trends; a friend whom i assumed i would never meet. so imagine my excitement when i was asked to come to the kcrw studio in santa monica to talk about my secret suppers! here's a link to listen to the show:
